He loves the process and has made it his life’s work to contribute in any manner he can. In the 90’s, Eric joined the team at Industrial Light and Magic where he eventually worked on over twenty feature films as a digital artist. Seeing a trend to ship excess work overseas, Eric decided to take on overseas outsourcing and formed RotoFactory which specialized in 2D paint and rotoscoping.
After two years of supporting other effects houses, RotoFactory was given the opportunity to work directly with a major studio on Rush Hour 3. With over 50 shots completed on this show, Eric was able to meet with some very important people in the studio system and has been acquiring very cool projects from them and other effects studios ever since. |
